Bio
Dr. Wendy Greyvensteyn has been in private practice as a clinical psychologist for 14 years. Alongside her husband Jan, they began the process of founding Shamar Clinic in 2019 and have spear headed the process since then.
Wendy is passionate about the field of psychology, psychiatry, neuroscience, and integrative health. Shamar Clinic has established deep roots in Dr. Wendy’s personal life and profession as she is passionate about creating a space of healing that fosters holistic healing of every individual she works with.
Dr. Wendy is the visionary and leader of Shamar Clinic and believes that through a dedicated and passionate team, Shamar is able to support every individual to grow towards their best self and complete healing. Dr. Wendy works from a biopsychosocial-spiritual perspective and has special interest areas in Christian psychology, clinical disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, trauma, marriage therapy, neuropsychology and neuropsychotherapy.

• BSocSci: Psych – Bachelors of Social Science in Psychology (UP) Cum Laude
• BSocSci: Honours in Psychology (UP) Cum Laude
• Masters of Arts: Clinical Psychology (UP) Cum Laude
• Doctorate in Psychology (Unisa) With commendation
• Member of Golden Key (2004 – present)
